Ross S. Kass, CPA, CCP, FABFA, President
Ross S. Kass, CPA, CCP FABFA is the President of Kass & Monahan CPAs. Ross is a former computer systems auditor from Arthur Young and Company. He graduated from Bentley University with degrees in Accounting and Computer Systems.
Ross has served in numerous capacities as an officer, director and committee chair of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners (NCCPAP) and the Nassau/Suffolk Chapter thereof. He has headed the IRS District Director’s Liaison committee. Ross is the founder of the Long Island Tax Practitioner Symposium, an annual event that brings multiple accounting organizations together with the Internal Revenue Service for an educational and networking event. Ross is a life fellow of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute for the Certification of Computer Professionals.
In his spare time, Ross enjoys spending time with his family, riding his motorcycles and taking photographs. Ross is an IDC Staff Instructor and SCUBA diving teacher. According to Ross, a bad day SCUBA diving is better than any day at the office!
